One of the great things about sitting behind a computer all day long at work is that I can listen to music. The drudgery of cube life is made bearable, somewhat. And most of the time, I use that opportunity to listen to all of the e-mail submissions I get and discover new music. Sometimes, I actually find a few minutes during lunch where I can write a bit. Unfortunately, my work has not had internet for 3 weeks, and we don't know when that will remedied. It has put me behind.
Anyway, one of the bands I discovered a few weeks back while traversing Soundcloud was Chester, England's Peaness. The entirely charming three-piece indie-pop band caught my ear with their melodic head bobbing fun. And infectious fun is something we all need more of these days. Stream 'No-one' below.
