Yesterday, I spoke of the country-folk scene in Scandinavia, and I doubt I've even scratched the surface. Apparently, the country folk scene in Scandinavia is surging and now reaching other parts of the world. As I said yesterday, being from the American South makes me question that style of music being made there, but I'm being proved wrong. Yesterday was Janne Hea, today, I'm featuring Norwegian Unnveig Aas and her shimmering plaintive country-folk affair, 'How Long Must a Woman Mourn'. It's a gorgeous piece made even more compelling by the over 6 minute video for the track. Watch the video for 'How Long Must a Woman Mourn' below, it's my Song of the Day!
