Ok, try not to get lost, I'm not going to repeat myself. However, you can read this again if you've had a few drinks. Earlier this month, I featured the really cool Sauna Youth track 'Transmitters' as my Song of the Day. Looking back, I wonder if their press photo had some hidden meaning. All I see is Harry Potter. The owl, the portrait of Harry hanging up, and then the levitation (Levioso) which is obviously magic. Do you see it?
Must be the drinks I've had tonight. Are you still following? Anyway, Jen is in Sauna Youth, but she's also in Monotony, but that's also Sauna Youth, but with just another name. I'm not sure if they've pulled a Replacements shift to the right kind of thing, but it's the same band. In addition to that bit of confusion, Jen's also in another band named Feature. She's in Feature with Heather and Liv. Heather is also in Slowcoaches and a new band, Human Form. She's also in the banana and toothbrush photo I've giggled about a few times. Then, Liv is in Feature, but her day job is PR for a ton of awesome bands, many we've covered right here at Aimless Skylarking. She's also an expert on Brighton, she gave me a ton of tips for the city and deserves a hi-five.
I'm lost, but I've had a fair amount to drink tonight. Pesky porters are to blame. Anyway, we certainly took a circuitous route to Feature, but it was worth it, I can't quit listening. However, I'm a bit amused by it all. When I get bored, I organize a sock drawer, or vacuum the trunk of my car (boot for UK people), folks in the UK start another band. I'm just now obsessing over Feature's work. Are you confused? Don't be, let the music be your master, it's quite good. Join me in checking out the band perform 'Psalms' from their Culture of Copy EP.
