On her third album, Nashville artist Lera Lynn finally made the album she always wanted to make from the sound she's always heard in her head. To record the album, she took to Resistor Studio in Nashville along with long-time collaborator Joshua Grange, with both playing just about every instrument during a series of spontaneous and experimental sessions. What emerged from the sessions is Lera's most arresting work to date. Instead of shedding her roots in Americana, or following a Nashville radio trend, she layered her already rich sound with rock and pop stylings with stunning results. The addition of a baritone guitar and its distinctive timbre to the 10 track affair sets a dark and unsettling tone, but it's Lera's captivating moody voice that keeps finding darkness around every corner.
Key Tracks: 'Shape Shifter', 'Drive', 'For the Last Time', 'Fade Into Black'
