On my 2nd night in London last year, I was able to see Rebecca Clements perform at the venerable venue, The Old Blue Last. Before I left my home in the States, I'd penciled the show in as part of my London itinerary, but I wasn't quite prepared to be completely mesmerized by Rebecca's gorgeously expressive voice. 'Coma Boy', 'Boys Don't Cry', and 'Pure Wasted' demanded complete attention from everyone in attendance. I'd planned to catch her perform at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton a few days later, but the venue was out of the way and I could not make it given my packed schedule. With that, I'm returning to London next month for a short stay and of course I'm there for The Great Escape, and hope to catch another performance.
Now Rebecca's back with a new track, 'Spiral', with more to come June 17th when she releases her EP, 'Bad TV'. After one spin, Rebecca's big voice has captured my attention once again, this might be her best work yet, and makes me eager to hear the EP. Join me in streaming 'Spiral' below.
