Once again, the inbox is overflowing with submissions too good to pass on. We hope you find something in the following 7 tracks to get your week off to a brilliant start.
Come To Your Senses - MNNQNS
French indie rockers MNNQNS have been busy with a new EP, Capital, coming soon. Their debut LP, Worthless, is a favorite. 'Come To Your Senses' is more of the same rollicking indie rock fun, and we can't wait to hear the rest of what they're cooking up.
Oh You Know - Dog Party
The Giles sisters have a new full length out on Asian Man Records. 'Til You're Mine is packed full of what the band does so well, 2 minute blasts of pop-punk. Ready, set, go!
In My Game - Pillow Person
Pillow Person is the solo project of Hot Chip drummer, Sarah Jones. Her follow up to 'Go Ahead' is the insanely catchy 'In My Game'. Is it a B-side or is it an AA-side? Who cares! Listen in below.
Open Water - Rich Girls
New York garage rockers, Rich Girls, led by Luisa Black have a new EP coming this September. The haunting first offering from Love is the Dealer is the atmospheric beauty of 'Open Water'. Find it below.
Bow Down - Blueyes
Organic music discoveries are the best. I stumbled across Blueyes and her captivating track, 'Bow Down', a few days past and can't quit listening. The London based Irish singer starts the track with "Think about me wearing your white shirt." More please.
Baby - Todavia
Los Angeles based Todavia's sophomore release Stay came out earlier this summer. The EP explores mental illness, introversion, gender and sexual identity, as well as self-worth. Sole member of the dream pop project, Rhyan Riesgo, managed to take such weighty topics and make beautiful music. This submission was buried in the Aimless Skylarking inbox, time to drag it out in the light. Enjoy!
