The PINS release new track Come Back

The PINS have released the title track from their upcoming EP, Come Back.  The EP will be released on Bella Union Records as part of this year's Cassette Store Day on September 27th.  The track features everything that's great about the band -- spot on vocal harmonies and their impeccable retro stylings.

Each time I listen to 'Come Back', it whisks me back to my youth when I'd listen to records from my Mother's mid-60's heavy collection.  I can almost hear the crackling and popping as the needle glided across the vinyl as I curiously marveled at sounds and voices I'd never heard before.  The PINS are on to something, and are big favorites here at Aimless Skylarking.  Stream 'Come Back' below to find out what they're all about.

There's not much information to be found about The Belles, but here's the original of the song.  The PINS' version is a dead ringer!

The PINS tease Cassette Store Day EP

The PINS have offered up a teaser for their 2014 Cassette Store Day release, 'Come Back' EP out on Bella Union Records September 27th, 2014.  The band describes the three new tunes as "60's Girls in the Garage covers".  It's a teaser for sure, just over 40 seconds for the 3 songs, but enough to know that I'm going to own a copy.  Listen to the teaser below.

PINS Record Store Day Release

I guess I did take part in Record Store Day after all.  Once I learned I could get the PINS Record Store Day release shipped to the States, I ordered, and yesterday I received a nice birthday surprise in the mail.  It's the epitome of cool.  And limited to 500 copies.  The heart-shaped vinyl record includes two tracks, both unheard by me, Shoot You and Eleventh Hour.  Want your very own copy?  Yes you do because it's on sale for £10 right this very moment over at Bella Union , and they'll ship just about anywhere.  For sure Europe and the States.

Need some help deciding?  These two should help!
